Wabi Tsubaki is a vibrant ceremonial matcha made from tender, spring-harvested leaves—the very first flush of the season. Grown in the renowned tea fields of Uji, Japan, these young leaves are shade-cultivated for optimal sweetness and umami, then stone-milled into a fine, jade-green powder. The result is a smooth, aromatic matcha with a naturally rich taste and a clean, uplifting finish.
Ideal for both traditional whisked matcha and modern matcha lattes, Tsubaki delivers a perfect balance of depth and delicacy. It’s a premium matcha that suits daily rituals and special moments alike.
Recommended Serving Size:
• MILD (Usui) – Straight: ½ tsp (~1g)
• MEDIUM – Latte or sipping: 1 tsp (~2g)
• STRONG (Koi) – Smoothie, latte, or sipping: 1+ tsp (>3g)
How to Prepare:
Sift 1 tsp (2g) into a cup or bowl. Add ~80ml hot water (80°C). Whisk briskly in a zig-zag motion until a fine lather forms. Sip and enjoy.
