Rocket Mozzafiato Fast R

The Mozzafiato R FAST is the latest version of one of Rocket's longest running machines, and the FAST part is genuine. Rocket's updated group is actively heated, so instead of waiting half an hour for an E61 style group to come up to temperature, this one is ready to brew in around 15 minutes.

Inside is an insulated 1.8 litre copper heat exchanger boiler, which means you can pull a shot and steam milk at the same time. Steam power is proper. A PID controller keeps brew temperature accurate and adjustable, and the discreet display behind the drip tray doubles as a shot timer. From the same panel you can tweak boiler temperature, switch eco mode on or off, and choose between tank and mains water.

That last part matters: the R model runs a rotary pump, so it is noticeably quieter than a vibration pump machine and can be plumbed directly into your water supply. If you are setting up a permanent coffee station, this is the smallest Rocket that lets you do it, at just 314mm wide.

The case keeps the classic Mozzafiato look, with the side panels rising up to form the cup rail, refreshed with modern bevelled panels. Available in polished stainless or black. Ships with single and double portafilters and baskets, tamper, backflush disc, group brush and hoses.
